Ingredients

Cake:
1 Cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temp
1/2 Cup shortening
1 1/2 Cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 Cups light brown sugar
8 oz cream cheese, softened
3 Cups all-purpose flour
6 eggs
1 Tbls vanilla extract
1 Cup chocolate chips
Glaze:
1/2 Cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temp
3/4 Cup light brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/4 Cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
6 Tbls milk
1 Cup chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, cream together the butter, shortening and cream cheese. Gradually beat in both sugars. Alternating between the eggs and flour, add in each and mix thoroughly ending with flour, leaving about 1Tbls of the flour and set aside. Stir in the vanilla. Toss the chocolate chips with the remaining flour and fold into the batter.
Bake in a greased and floured bundt pan for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean. Let sit in the pan for 10 minutes to cool. Take out of pan and let cool completely on wire rack.
While the cake is baking, make the glaze. Cream the butter and sugar with a hand mixer. Ad the vanilla and mix. Add the flour and salt until combined. Add in the milk and beat until fluffy. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Once the cake is cooled, dollop the glaze on top and let it run down the sides of the cake. Serve and enjoy!
